The Christian Community Health Centre renamed as the Christian Hospital, Ambilikkai has grown from a small TB and Leprosy hospital of the 1960’s to a full fledged secondary level hospital. It offers general and multi-speciality care, with good laboratory, pharmacy and radiology services.

• Registered under the Clinical Establishment Act 
• Entry level –National Accreditation status (NABH).
• 150 bedded hospital, with emergency care, ICU and well equipped theatres.
• Regular outpatient departments cover Medicine, Dermatology, Dentistry, Paediatrics , Surgery, Oncology, Urology and Orthopedics.

The hospital is renowned for being the only rural hospital offering radiation facilities, and modern urology services. An excellent orthopedic facility is also being set up.

Weekly special clinics-Respiratory and Diabetic  attract a large crowd of patients. Visiting specialists are available for Onco surgery.

Cancer screening services are available in the hospital.

The hospital staff strength is 130.

The hospital caters mainly to patients from a less privileged background.
